Base Set Charizard Review
You knew it would top the list… the Base Set Charizard is the holy grail of Pokémon Cards!
This card isn’t just a valuable asset, it’s a time machine. Hear me out…
It’s got this incredible ability to throw you right back to your childhood, and remember what it feels like to be a kid again.
If you were lucky enough to pull one of these bad boys, you instantly became king of the playground!
This isn’t just a card, it’s a nostalgic throwback.
Now before you start saying, “these go for thousands of dollars!” – you’re right. The 1st Edition and Shadowless versions do. However, you can pick up a little less than that from these sellers.
Whether you’re looking to get back into collecting, or want to start now, this card should be top of your list.

Red Cheeks Pikachu Review
The Red Cheeks Pikachu card is commonly referred to as a misprint, however, this is incorrect.
When Wizards of the Coast first released the card in English, they decided to experiment with the design in order to make it more recognizable.
Soon after, they went back on this decision, returning to yellow cheeks. As such, the card is quite rare and valuable.
Ultimately, it’s a great little card to add to your collection, with a cool story behind it.

Team Rocket Dark Raichu Review
Next up is the first-ever secret rare Pokémon card, Dark Raichu from the Team Rocket Set.
It’s such a cool-looking card. From the aggressive Raichu design to the list number 83/82.
Interesting, this one little card caused the set release date to be delayed as it needed to be approved by Nintendo first! I’m not quite sure what they were worried about, secret rare cards are awesome!
Anyway, you can find them on Amazon for relatively cheap, however, if you’re looking for a 1st Edition Card with a high PSA grading, expect to pay between $100-$200.

Japanese Ancient Mew 'Nintedo' Misprint Review
If you’re a fan of rare misprinted cards, you’ll like this.
In 1999, this Ancient Mew card was given as a freebie with tickets purchased to The Power of One Pokémon Movie.
Incredibly, the first Japanese version was printed with Nintendo spelled incorrectly. It read ‘Nintedo’. Perhaps spellcheck wasn’t as good back then!?
Anyway, what was produced as a very common card, has this totally unique rare version.
A cool card with a funny story.

Base Set Blastoise Review
This rare Pokémon card’s power is the rain dance. When Blastoise is paired with an energy card, it does not use up the energy card’s attachment.
This powerful Pokémon card has super strong water jets on its shell. Players can use this card when they need to take part in a high-speed and action-packed battle.
If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to buy this card, you certainly should, as it will help you greatly during battles!
