Park & Sun Sports Portable Outdoor Volleyball Net Review
The Park & Sun Sports Volleyball Net was first introduced to me by a friend at an outdoor BBQ soon after I had taken up volleyball at the YMCA. She brought this portable volleyball net so we could all play, and I remember being amazed at how quickly she was able to set it up.
I asked her a bunch of questions that my volleyball accessory obsessed mind had to know, and then later in the summer I bought my own.
The best part about this portable volleyball net is how easily it goes up and comes back down, as long as you have two people to set it up. The two piece aluminum poles have a push button locking mechanism for every height. This means you can set the net at the regulation heights for men, women and co-ed with just the push of a button.
That aspect also makes for easy adjustment during play. This volleyball net is pre-attached to the poles and stays nice and tight when properly anchored during play. You can smack into it without the whole thing collapsing.
That might sound silly, but with cheaper volleyball nets collapsing will happen. It’s funny, but it’s inconvenient as heck.
This is a portable volleyball net that will hold up to years of rough play, and fits neatly into its own waterproof bag for storage and travel. A fantastic investment for any fan of the game!

Baden Champion Series Volleyball Net Review
I love this net by Baden. It’s not as fancy as the Park & Sun, but don’t you make judgements until you’ve heard me out! It made our list as runner up for a multitude of reasons!
When you order the Baden set, you’ll get a volleyball, a regulation size volleyball net, a ball pump, adjustable steel poles, boundary lines and a carry bag. That is a ton of product for a super price.
Now that I have your attention, I’ll go on to say that this outdoor volleyball net is incredibly durable and so easy to put up. We purchased one for my Dad a few years ago and he leaves it up all summer long.
This outdoor volleyball net still looks like new! No rusting and no fading from the sun.
When you do decide to break it down, the poles snap and unsnap together easily. This is a great quality in case of sudden severe weather.
Although this portable volleyball net is durable enough to withstand your typical summer thunderstorm. If you’ve got weather on the way rough enough to whip your Baden net out of the ground, then your first priority should not be taking it down.
You should get indoors instead.
Speaking of weather, the Baden net comes equipped with a waterproof bag for storage and portability. Since the poles break down into pieces, it’s not an overwhelming package to tote around.

Gold Medal Pro Power 2 Volleyball Net Review
This durable volleyball net is no doubt your best budget option…but it doesn’t come without flaws.
It’s important to mention before you run out and scoop one up, that you have to purchase poles that come with a self-anchoring system, or have existing poles in order to set it up. That is a major inconvenience for some, so it’s a good nugget of knowledge to have.
This volleyball net will work wonderfully for those of you looking for a more permanent option or to replace the net on your current poles.
If you want to put up a net one time and keep it there, then this is a great volleyball net to consider. It’s regulation size and heavy duty. It will stand up to weather aggressively.
This outdoor volleyball net is a fantastic purchase for any volleyball league or organization. It’s a good pick for a recreation center as well.
It might not be portable, but it’s a great product when taken for what it is.

Boulder Portable Volleyball Net Set Review
The Boulder Portable Set is so much fun to have around. It’s amazing for parties, camping beach outings and the best pick for kids!
One of my close friends has this portable volleyball net, and she brings it along every time we go camping. It’s really easy to set up, and you can play a variety of games with it.
So far we have used it for badminton, volleyball and an impromptu game of tennis. It worked perfectly for all.
This gem of a volleyball net is travel ready and by far the most portable net on our list. It’s folds and unfolds easily. The posts hook into one another, and you won’t lose any pieces as they’re all attached by bungee cords. Brilliant, because I lose everything.
You don’t need any stakes to set it up, and it’s easy enough for the kids to do. The poles are super durable (not in high winds) and rust resistant. The portable volleyball net itself is made with high quality nylon, and will not fade, rip or snag if taken care of properly.
When you’re ready to put it away, fold it all up and put it back in it’s waterproof bag. The whole shebang takes about 3-5 minutes. It’s great for basement play as well!
Portable Volleyball Net Buyer’s Guide
There is nothing more fun than a game of outdoor volleyball. Whether you’re a professional beach volleyball player or having fun at a family get together, the game itself is always a blast.
People have been playing competitive games of outdoor volleyball for years, inciting grudges against cousins and causing rule arguments left and right. Manufacturers caught on to the hype, and soon the market was flooded with an variety of outdoor volleyball nets.
They are great to keep around for practice or lighthearted play. It’s really fun to have one on hand at all times, especially during nice weather.
If you’re heavy into the sport, you already know the benefits of keeping a net at home. You’ll be able set up shop and practice anytime you want. You’ll fuel your drive and improve your game, right in the comfort of your own backyard.
When you shake it down to the nitty gritty, buying a volleyball net is all about how much time you’re going to spend playing, and how much money you want to put into it.
If you start with those two factors, you’ll find yourself gravitating towards the correct net without caring if the net stays tight or how long it takes to put up. You’ll find exactly what you need if you know what you want from it.
If you plan to use it every single day, and you live in a place that you can do so…then your choice should be something along the lines of the Park & Sun or the Baden net. If you’re just going to use it for occasional camping and parties, then Boulder is for you.
Unless you’re using it for recreational purposes, a volleyball net just isn’t something that you buy because you started a new hobby. We know that.
If you decide you love volleyball, and you need a net at home to set up shop and work on those skills, then my top pick overall is the Park & Sun. This is a net that will last you for years, adjust to the appropriate regulation heights, and work for both practice and recreational use.
You will get so much out of it. I have had mine for quite awhile now, and I use it a lot. I think that overall that’s what you’re looking for, right? To get a lot out of your purchase!
I hope this buying guide finds you well, and that you are able to find the perfect net for your needs. Volleyball nets aren’t as detail specific as some other accessories you might be investing in, so you won’t feel as much pressure during purchase.
You’ll fall in love with the vibrant colors and easy to use design of the Park & Sun as soon as you set it up and partake in your first volley, but you have to buy what will work for your needs.
Having a portable volleyball net around is a perfect way to brush up on your serve, initiate a quick game with friends and family and a fantastic way to keep in shape. It never stops being fun.
