It is one of the lightest regulation size nets on the market coming in at 16 pounds. This is due to its use of recycled carbon fiber and aluminum in the frame (will not rust). It only takes one person to move the net from one court to another.
My biggest pet peeve with any portable Pickleball net is that they usually have a flimsy and saggy top net cord. It has a powder coated steel frame which makes it almost twice as heavy (32 lbs) as the SwiftNet 2.1 so there’s a bit more weight to lug around and to lift into the trunk. However, the additional weight will make it less likely to blow around in heavy wind. The frame itself is made with a sturdier tubular oval design vs a round one.
The net can be assembled in 5 minutes and the net is tensioned using Velcro straps on each side of the net.
